Assets optimization and its issues (1h)

• Learn how Assets Optimization works. Including:

  • Where the optimized file is stored.

  • How Auto Optimize works.

  • How Icons optimization works.

• Import the Books Writer Demo.

• Go to Theme Options > Advanced, check the “Auto Optimize” option, and press the Auto Optimize button. See what elements are checked in the Optimize checkboxes list.

• Then add a new page and add a couple of elements that were not checked in the Optimize list. View this page on the front. The elements should be showing broken.

• Fix the new page elements display.

• Make screenshots of the admin area and the front-end result, and attach them to the daily report.

Send the report

Send the summary and link to the results to the curator.
