# Day 13

### Assets optimization and its issues (1h)

* Learn how Assets Optimization works. Including:
  * Where the optimized file is stored.
  * How Auto Optimize works.
  * How Icons optimization works.
* Import the [Books Writer](https://impreza57.us-themes.com/) Demo. 
* Go to Theme Options > Advanced, check the “Auto Optimize” option, and press the Auto Optimize button. See what elements are checked in the Optimize checkboxes list.
* Then add a new page and add a couple of elements that were not checked in the Optimize list. View this page on the front. The elements should be showing broken.
* Fix the new page elements display.
* Make screenshots of the admin area and the front-end result, and attach them to the daily report.

### Send the report

Send the summary and link to the results to the curator.
